Executive Summary |
Lamar Junior High National Honor Society Students won honors at the recent Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo with Mustang Mania 2008. Their life size Mustang named “I spy an Amigo” with baby Colt “Diesel in Disguise”, which won the Best in Show 2008, was displayed in Reliant Arena during the rodeo. Tracy Van Horn Reed, art instructor, coordinated the project on behalf of Amigo Energy, a local electricity provider. The mustang and colt was decorated with unique art work by the students under the direction of Ms. Reed. |
