Recommended Action
Receive and hear presentation of the financial statements for the year ended September 30, 2007 and the independent auditors’ opinion thereon.
Executive Summary
As required by the state statue and the by-laws of the Sugar Land 4B Corporation (SL4B), an independent audit has been made of the City’s annual financial statements, which includes the SL4B as a discretely presented component unit. The audit was performed by the certified public accounting firm of Null-Lairson, P.C. The report and auditors’ opinion have been prepared and were filed with the City Council and City Secretary on February 19, 2008. The Council and Finance/Audit Committee received an overview of the statements on February 14, 2008. The portions for the City’s financial statements that include the SL4B are hereby presented to the Corporation Board.
