Executive Summary |
||||
|
The current Uniform and Floor Mat Rental Services contract with G &
K Services will expire on December 31, 2006. Uniforms are provided by G &
K Services to all non-emergency uniformed personnel and floor mats are
located at all employee-occupied buildings. Uniforms and floor mats are
picked up, cleaned and replaced once a week. These items are also repaired
and/or taken out of rotation due to defects and excessive wear. The City is pleased with the service rendered by G & K Services and would like to continue to contract with them to supply and clean floor mats and uniforms. Services are available by G & K Services through a cooperative purchasing agreement with Buy Board, Contract # 199-04, at a more competitive price than the current contract. The attached table summarizes unit costs and estimated quantities for the period of January 1, 2007 – December 31, 2007. |
