|
The Fort Bend County Fire Marshal has submitted an updated Interlocal Agreement (Agreement) for fire protection between Fort Bend County (County) and the City of Sugar Land Fire Department (City). The Agreement establishes a relationship between the County and the City to cooperate in fire protection in designated unincorporated areas of the County. The Agreement also outlines the process and fees for reimbursement of the fire protection services provided by the City to unincorporated areas of the County. Further, the County agrees to be liable on an individual basis for any equipment damage or replacement under statutory provision of the Local Government Code. This Agreement is renewed every two years. Once approved, this Agreement to expire September 2008. |
