In August of 2005 City Council authorized Ordinance 1505, which created new standards for tree trimming. As a part of the Tree Trimming Program a grace period was established during which the Public Works Department would market the new program to the community. The purpose of this discussion will be to update you on our progress and to provide an outline of our next steps.
