Summary |
|
The 80th Legislature begins in January 2007. In past legislative sessions, the City has prepared and approved a Legislative Agenda that provides an official City Council position on various topics that may be up for consideration by the legislature. Attached are the resolutions approved for the 79th legislative session for your reference. These resolutions were used as a base in developing the proposed draft 2007 Legislative Agenda. At the October 3, 2006 Council workshop, staff will present a draft 2007 legislative agenda to Council for their discussion and input. This draft Legislative Agenda was discussed with the City Council Intergovernmental Relations Committee on September 19, 2006. Upon final direction by Council at this workshop, a resolution will be brought to Council for approval later in the month. |
