Recommended Action

Recognition of the Stewardship Award for outstanding service and support presented to the City of Sugar Land’s Public Works Department.

 

Executive Summary

The Southeast Branch of the Texas Public Works Association, at its annual gala on January 31, 2007, recognized the City of Sugar Land Public Works Department with the Stewardship Award for outstanding service and support for 2006.  The award is given annually to a public entity that best exemplifies professionalism, initiative and commitment to both service in the community and to the goals of the American Public Works Association.  The City of Sugar Land was honored to receive this award.
