Council Member Jacqueline "Jacquie" Baly Chaumette
Council Member Chaumette was elected to office with over 69% of the vote on May 10, 2008, and was unopposed May 2010.
Since 1994, Jacquie along with her husband David and two sons, have called Fort Bend County their home.
Jacquie has over 20 years of municipal and public policy experience. She served as a gubernatorial appointee on the Brazos River Authority-where she represented Fort Bend and surrounding counties on water and wastewater policy issues. Governor Perry appointed Jacquie to the BRA in 2004. She is the recipient of many awards including: Outstanding Young American by the United States Jaycees, ABC-13 Woman of Distinction, and Fort Bend Entrepreneur of the Year.
