PARKS AND RECREATION POLICY ADVISORY BOARD

 

Establishment:
  The Parks and Recreation Policy Advisory Board established by Ordinance No. 1246, June 2000.
   
Purpose:
 
The board makes recommendations on the city's master park plans and
the long term goals and objectives for parks and recreation activities and
on other matters relating to parks and recreation activities as requested by the City Council or referred to the board by the city manager.
   
Membership:
  Seven residents of the City.
     
Terms:
  All members of boards and commissions serve a one-year term, beginning on October 1 in the year appointed and ending on September 30 of the following year. A member may not be appointed for more than eight consecutive terms.
