Chief Fenwick was a part of the fire industry for over 35 years. Beginning as a volunteer firefighter with Pearland to his paid career with the Sugar Land Fire-EMS. During his career, Chief Fenwick worked on many major projects, served on numerous boards and committees to ensure firefighters’ careers were given the best resources, equipment, safety measures, and all-around best for his co-workers. Chief Fenwick was diagnosed with cancer less than two years ago and sadly succumbed to his illness this past September. While undergoing treatment, Chief Fenwick expressed his intention to hold a blood drive to help replenish the blood that was used in the course of his treatment. So we, his family at Sugar Land Fire-EMS along with his wife Meledy and family would like to carry out his desire to help others.Help us in honoring his wish by donating blood to MD Anderson Blood Bank to assist in the treatment of future cancer patients.Walk-ins are welcomed!
