How does a Vendor go about getting on the City of Sugar Land's bid list?

For expenditures totaling less than $25,000, the City subscribes to the philosophy of decentralized purchasing, whereby most authorized purchases of goods and services are the responsibility of the individual departments.

Expenditures for goods and services totaling more than $25,000, unless exempt under state law, are made through sealed competitive bidding or in the case of high technology purchases, through sealed competitive proposals.


How do I obtain the City of Sugar Land's bids?

Vendors are able to get information on our formal bids at no cost by monitoring the newspaper for advertisements, and/or checking our Web site for new information.
