Brindley mountain bike trail.  Additional features of this park include picnic pavilions, restroom facility, ample parking areas, a fenced playground, open space for sports activities and a lake for fishing and canoeing.  Visitors may fish in the lake with a valid fishing license (Consult your local tackle shop or Texas Parks and Wildlife for license information).

Adjacent to Memorial Park is the 6-acre Pawm Springs Dog Park, which includes includes separate enclosed areas for large and small dogs, a shade pavilion, a pond with a water spray feature and rinse stations.

Veterans Memorial

Through the symbolic entryway and peninsula bridge, visitors are able to walk within the obelisk and experience rays of sunlight reflecting through a vertical opening. The Veterans Memorial seeks to accommodate two distinct, but perhaps overlapping, tropes of honor - the Celebratory and the Contemplative.

The underside of the monument lists the names of Sugar Land soldiers who have died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.
