Town Hall Meet for District 1 Set for Oct. 26

Sugar Land, TX - A Town Hall meeting for City Council District 1 is scheduled for Oct. 26, from 6-8 p.m., at the T.E. Harman Senior Center, 226 Matlage Way.

Residents are invited to attend a meet and greet from 6-6:30 p.m. to speak with District 1 Councilmember Steve Porter and City staff.

Presentations on topics such as pedestrian and bike improvements, crime statistics, a proposed texting and driving ban, Smart Financial Centre, a neighborhood Walmart grocery store, the redevelopment of the Imperial property and more will begin at 6:30 p.m. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Visit www.sugarlandtx.gov/myneighborhood to verify residential addresses in each Council district and other information specific to neighborhoods.
