Public Meeting Set for Parks, Recreation, Open Space Master Plan Update

Sugar Land, TX - A public meeting to receive feedback on an update of the City’s Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan is scheduled for Aug. 17, at 6:30 p.m., at Sugar Land City Hall, 2700 Town Center Boulevard Drive.

The Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan establishes a vision for parks and recreation use and identifies a work plan of projects to accomplish the City’s parks and recreation goals.

Attendees will be given the opportunity to provide input and identify strategies to help guide Sugar Land’s Parks and Recreation vision. During the meeting, staff will present:

  • a brief overview of the achievements of the current Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan and expectations of the 10-year update; and
  • allow residents to share new ideas, as well as expand on ideas that emerged from community discussions.
