First Colony Universally Accessible Playground


Lego Camp

Campers ages 6-12 are welcome to this full day LEGO camp, packed with hands-on and minds-on STEM fun! Build projects inspired by cool machines such as: chugging Steamboats, enchanting Moon Bridges, and bustling Airports. Then join Ash and Pikachu as you explore the vast world of Pokémon, design your own Poké Balls, and fly with Charizard. Engineering and Pokémon adventure are the focus of this new full-day themed camp for LEGO fanatics!

Summer Art Camp

Starting in mid-June, themed summer art camp will be offered to mini-doodlers (ages 3-5) and doodlers (6-12)! Abrakadoodle’s robust and comprehensive curriculum was designed by educators and artists. While kids are learning and developing new skills, they are also developing their own personal style of creativity. Abrakadoodle camps are guaranteed to be both educational and FUN! Days: Monday-Thursday (throughout multiple weeks between June - August)
Times:1-4 p.m. (half day) or 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (full day)
Cost: Half Day: $160 Resident; $192 Non-Resident / Full Day: $300 Resident; $360 Non-Resident

Chess Camp by The Chess Wizards

Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like bughouse), recess time, snacks, tournaments and puzzles. Each camper receives a t-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards!

Days: July 26-30
Times: 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Art Class by Young Rembrandts

The Young Rembrandts Drawing Class helps teach the fundamentals and power of drawing for children ages 6-12 years. Supplies are included in the cost of the 4-week long sessions.

Times: 5:30-6:45 p.m.
Cost: $72 Residents; $90 Non-Residents
Ages: 6-12 years

Martial Arts


Quality instructors instruct both youth and adults the art of Judo and self-defense. Students will be in a safe environment and will learn attacks, defenses, and falls. 

Location: Imperial Park Recreation Center
Days: Saturday (three month session)
Times: 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Cost: $50
Ages: 5-15 years

Tae Kwon Do

This class will enhance each participant’s self-esteem, build confidence, develop discipline, teach self-defense and strengthen one’s mind and body. Individuals ages 5 years and older are welcome! View flyer for more information.
